Late Fall at Chalk Creek/New Painting

Late Fall at Chalk Creek

Late Fall at Chalk Creek

One of our favorite bike rides is in a place named “Chalk Creek.”  It is east of Coalville, Utah and goes up to the Wyoming border.  This is ranch and sheep country.  Last Fall was warm late into the year and we were able to enjoy a long late season bike ride and this painting is the result of that ride.  Robert had it stashed in his “needs help but I don’t know what” pile when he asked our 19 year old son (who has a very artistic eye) what it needed.  He gave Robert a small suggestion and it made all the difference in the painting.
