Side Road/New PaintingPosted: February 4, 2016
Last summer we decided to go through Yellowstone on our way to Jackson, Wyoming for an art show. When we got to the west entrance the traffic was a nightmare. It took us one hour to go six miles. We decided to bail because at that rate we would never get to Jackson! We u-turned and headed back to West Yellowstone. From there we passed through Ashton, Driggs and Victor, Idaho on our way to Jackson. What a beautiful drive. Big open spaces of farmland with the tetons as a backdrop. This painting is from that day of taking the side road.
